Canadian Westinghouse 551, ca. 1940		In a semi-darkened room, the vernier dial ring glows beautifully.
Tube complement: 12A8GT mixer/oscillator, 12K7GT IF, 12Q7GT detector, 35L6GT audio output, 35Z5GT rectifier. Westinghouse WR-166LI, 1940 Tube complement: 12SA7 mixer/oscillator, 12SK7 IF, 12SQ7 detector, 50L6GT audio output, 35Z5GT rectifier. The model number suffix stands for Loop antenna, Ivory finish.  (It's unpainted white Plaskon). The backside of the WR-166. Both radios are approximately 8-3/8 inches / 21 cm wide.
